It is incumbent on the certified national forensic laboratories to be connected to their industry associations and maintain beneficial affiliations. The following links are trade associations and organizations that Norchem or individual members of our team have relationships with. They can provide helpful information in choosing a laboratory for your specific needs or for answering questions related to laboratory standards and substance abuse in general.

   
DATIA Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association

The Drug and Alcohol Testing Industry Association (DATIA) was founded in 1995 as the National Association of Collection Sites, and has grown to represent over 1300 members, and expanded its scope. DATIA now represents the entire spectrum of drug and alcohol service providers including collection sites, laboratories, consortiums/TPAs, MROs, and testing equipment manufacturers.

The Society of Forensic Toxicologists, Inc. is an organization composed of practicing forensic toxicologists and those interested in the discipline for the purpose of promoting and developing forensic toxicology.

The College of American Pathologists (CAP), the leading organization of board-certified pathologists, serves patients, pathologists, and the public by fostering and advocating excellence in the practice of pathology and laboratory medicine.
